About the Role
Entry-level position supporting line crews on power and communication construction projects. Ground hands are essential to safe and efficient field operations.
Responsibilities
- Support line crews during pole setting, wire pulling, and equipment installation
- Operate hand tools and assist with rigging
- Flag traffic and maintain safe work zones
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety protocols and crew instructions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- CDL or willingness to obtain
- Flagger certification
- OSHA 10
- Prior construction or utility experience
- Mechanical aptitude
